Our story

Why Village Exists

Village Family Care Network exists to help families navigate the seasons of life when additional support matters most.

Through specialized respite care for typically developing children and children with special needs and disabilities, as well as prenatal, postpartum, newborn, and family support services, we provide compassionate, dependable, family-centered assistance designed around the unique needs of each household.

We believe care should be more than a service. It should be a relationship built on trust, dignity, safety, inclusion, and respect. Because families should never have to carry everything alone.

Every Family Deserves a Village.

Compassionate Care. Stronger Families. Brighter Futures.

Mission

To strengthen families through compassionate, reliable, non-clinical support that promotes stability, confidence, and well-being across different seasons of family life.

Vision

To become a trusted family-care network where every family can access the support, education, and resources they need to thrive.

What guides us

Our Core Values

Eight commitments that shape how we hire, train, communicate, and show up in a family's home.

Family First

Support designed around each family's unique needs.

Dignity

Every child, parent, caregiver, and family is treated with respect.

Safety

Safety is the foundation of every service we provide.

Compassion

Care delivered with empathy, patience, and genuine connection.

Inclusion

Every family is welcomed, respected, and represented.

Excellence

High standards in training, delivery, documentation, and communication.

Partnership

Working alongside families, never replacing their voice.

Empowerment

Building family confidence and capacity, not just providing care.

Our philosophy

Support Without Judgment

Families ask for help at the point where things already feel hard. Our job is to make that moment easier, not heavier. We do not audit a household, and we do not arrive with assumptions about how a family should run.

We listen first, describe options in plain language, and are honest when something falls outside what we can appropriately provide.

Our approach to care

How We Work

  • Every family has a written service plan they approve
  • Support professionals are screened, trained, and supervised
  • Visits are documented and communicated consistently
  • Matching considers routine, temperament, and preference
  • Plans are reviewed as circumstances change
  • Scope limits are stated plainly, never blurred

Our commitment to families

You will know who is coming, what support is planned, what happened during each visit, and who to contact if something changes.

Leadership

Meet Our Leadership

Leadership information will be published as our team expands.

Community partnerships

Working Alongside Others

Families rarely need only one kind of help. We collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, case managers, schools, therapists, and community organizations so support connects rather than competes.

We welcome collaboration with schools, case managers, social workers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.
